Quick WEP hack with the AA1

So I would safe to say that pretty much everyone knows wireless security is a joke.  Really all it does is make a would-be bandwidth thief look for a unsecured connection first.  With the Acer Aspire One you have yourself a portable WiFi-buster that couldn’t be much simpler to use.

Now remember, breaking someone’s WiFi encryption is illegal, and quite honestly the charges associated with jumping on someones access point without permission are ridiculous.  Its not worth even trying if you do not have the owner’s concent.  If you do though, you can scare the living shit out of them with this. Deus Ex Machina

As I mentioned in my previous post one of the things I plan on discussing here is netbooks.  No, I’m not going to try and be yet another netbook review site.  If you want one of those you should check out Liliputing.  You can also use Google to find the umpteen billion others.

If you HAVE been living under a rock for the past six months, a netbook is a smaller version of a laptop or notebook computer.  With screen sizes ranging 7″-10″ and a weight of about three pounds or less these little buggers make great low power carry arounds. Read the rest of this entry »
